As a person who likes hiking, you certainly also have an immense respect and affinity for nature. Please respect the Leave No Trace (LNT) Principle and protect nature by minimizing your impact.
LNT / RULES

Plan Ahead and Prepare
For example, split participants into small groups to minimize damage and impact to surface vegetation and disturbance of wildlife. Do not over-pack and reduce the amount of waste.

Travel on Durable Surfaces
Travel on established trails. Do not walk off-trail as this may result in dangerous situations as well as damage surface vegetation and cause soil erosion.

Dispose of Waste Properly
Bring a garbage bag with you and pick up all garbage, food, and waste. This will minimize the impact on the environment and prevent accidental consumption by wildlife.

Leave what You Find
Leave areas as you found them. Do not damage cultural artifacts and structures. Do not pick rocks or flowers and remove any objects from in its natural environment. The pictures you take are the greatest souvenirs.

Respect Wildlife
If you encounter wildlife, do not attempt to disturb them or feed them. This will impact their wellbeing and disrupt their natural habitat and way of life.

Proper Disposal of Human Waste
If you do not find a toilet in a time of need, please find an area at least 200 meters away from the nearest source of water. Urinate on rocks or gravel. After defecation, bury the waste and cover it with twigs or rocks.

Be Considerate of Other Visitors
Be courteous towards fellow travelers and respect their right to enjoy nature. Step aside for uphill hikers when going downhill. When resting, do not take up space on trails. Do not play music or listen to the radio on loudspeakers.
