Introduction

Under the Huazhong Bridge, there's a large Dinosaur Park; since the Huazhong Bridge 3D paintings were launched in 2014, Taiwan's only one Dinosaur Park next to Riverside Bike Path has been planned. It's a place of amazing art installations for taking amazing photos, including little tyrannosaurus, triceratops, little stegosaurus, dinosaur egg, and a hanging pterosaur overlooking the area. Attentions: The park is inside the riverside area; once the Central Weather Bureau issues the warning for a typhoon, the park will be immediately closed.

Jingtong Coal Memorial Park

Situated not far above the Jingtong Train Station, the site is a present-day tourist attraction, inside which visitors can see the masonry of the mine portal, or take photographs of bizarrely convoluted tree roots amidst a lush greenery. A stroll through the park will take you to Jingtong back in the old days.

Jinsha Bay Coastal Park

It is located at a turn on the Northern Coastal Highway, where one can easily miss out this beautiful place – the Golden Sand Bay Beach Park, which appears even more eye-catching under the sunshine. The waters from the ocean and the river meet here and one can become closer to the bay and the gravel sand at the same time. The beach features deep-water as well as shallow-water areas after the reconstruction, where younger children are able to play in the shallow-water area. Small fish and shrimps can be seen often due to the abundant ecology. Other than family fun, one can also stroll here while admiring the ocean; have a cup of coffee while enjoying the romance of the beach.
