Introduction

Tamsui's Red Castle is a beautiful building erected in 1899. It is embraced on three sides with a red brick corridor. Situated within sight of Tamsui River, it offers an extremely expansive ocean vista that attracts lovers of photography. The three-story Red Castle has a Chinese restaurant on ﬁrst ﬂoor, a gallery of photos showing Tamsui through the years on second ﬂoor and a café on third ﬂoor.
