There are 12 brick sculptures on the exterior walls, they are made using patterns that include the rose that symbolizes the British, the "VR 1891" pattern of the Victorian period. Also, there are green glazed vase rails in the Taiwanese local style and the stone-craved window decorated with the "ancient coin pattern" near the steps. In addition, the edges of the brick pillars, arch grinding edge, stigma, cylinder and the sites of pillars were detailed in the same way as Greek stone architectures, which demonstrate high-class brick laying techniques.
