The Shiding Section of Tamsui-Kavalan Trails is located between Shuangxikou and Shiding Old Street in Shiding District, New Taipei City. There are two resting places along the trail: one is a pavilion in the middle section of the ancient road, where visitors can look out over the mountains.
Farther ahead, there is a rest area underneath the No.1 Expressway, with wooden benches and tables to enjoy tea or food there. After your break there, follow the old trail along the No. 1 Highway Exit to Wai’an Industrial Road, keep going along the road and you will see the second section of the trail.
