Introduction

The Lover's Bridge across the Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf is a white cable-stayed bridge built for pedestrians. It is a cross-harbor bridge with a total length of about 196 meters and takes about 3 minutes to walk across. On the bridge, you can enjoy the famous Tamsui sunset view. The Lover's Bridge was officially opened on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2003, and was named the Lover's Bridge by Shui-Bian Chen, the former President of the Republic of China.
