The Xindian River Cycling Route
Introduction
A circular cycling route has been developed on both banks of the Xindian River. Starting from Bitan, the cycling path on the left bank travels to the suspension bridge, Bitan Road, and Xizhou Road before reaching Sunshine Sports Park. On the right bank, the cycling route extends northward to Bitan, passing through MRT Xiaobitan Station and traversing the entire Xindian District. The bikeways on both banks are connected by the Yangguang Bridge, creating a comprehensive recreational system.
Ride on a bike, and enjoy the cool breeze and lush scenery along the banks is the best way to leisurely explore Xindian River. After your meal on Guangming Street, you can visit the Bitan Rental Station near MRT Xindian Station to rent a bike, and then cycle towards Sunshine Sports Park. This cycling route is flat, easily accessible, and ideal for families to enjoy together on holidays.
Suggested route for the riverside cycling path: Start at Bitan Rental Station - cross Bitan Bridge - head downstream along the left bank of the Xindian River to reach Sunshine Sports Park (Yangguang Rental Station) - cross Yangguang Bridge - go upstream along the right bank of the Xindian River - pass Xiaobitan Park - pass Qinqing Riverside Park - return to the Bitan Rental Station.
