The Xilong Trail is situated within the Tranan Tribe in Wulai, developed along the lifeline of the tribe—the Daluolan River. Access to the Xilong Trail is available from the Maan Ancient Canal Trail and through the Butterfly Park. Along this path, visitors can appreciate a variety of fern species, the endemic Taiwan shovel-jaw carp, and other views of the local ecology. As one enters the forested area, the trail becomes shaded by an abundance of lush and vibrant plants. The scenery, characterized by the forest and the valley, revitalizes visitors and offers a sense of freshness.
The trail culminates at the Tranan Scenic Bridge, a steel arch bridge that extends over the Daluolan River and stands as the newest attraction of the Tranan Tribe. Positioned at the spot designated by a signpost reading "Daluolan 750-meter", there lies a check dam and pool beneath the bridge. From this vantage point, one can revel in the picturesque views of the valley and mountains. Continuing the walk, the Daluolan (Tranan) Ancient Canal Trail on the opposite side of the bridge forms a circular route.
