Introduction
The corridor travels among the treetops in the air.
The first section of the Treetop Walkway is situated near the Visitor Center's parking area, on slightly elevated terrain. This 400-meter-long barrier-free walkway features a curved bridge design, allowing it to meander ingeniously through the forest. Additionally, it has an oval platform and several pavilions for visitors to rest. The second section, on the other hand, is located in a forest on slightly lower terrain. Visitors are required to first walk down a two-story mirrored staircase to the leafy-shaded forest walkway, which offers lush and verdant scenery along the way.
Overlooking the metropolitan area of Taipei City and New Taipei City
Along the Treetop Walkway, you can observe various low-altitude tree species found in northern Taiwan, including Sarmentose Fig (Ficus sarmentosa), Red Nanmu (Machilus thunbergii), Turn In The Wind (Mallotus paniculatus), and poison peach (Trema orientalis). As spring transitions into summer, you can also delight in the beauty of Tung blossoms fluttering in the air, creating a very romantic atmosphere. The Treetop Walkway is situated along the mountainside contour of the No.1 peak in Wugu and Bali – Guanyinshan. Standing at a height of over 300 meters, visitors can easily gaze upon the densely arranged towering skyscrapers in the Taipei Basin and Linkou Terrace in the distance.
