In Wanli District, New Taipei City, Dong-Ao Fishing Harbor is in the bay at the eastern end of Yehliu Peninsula. Built-in 1973, by 1979, the harbor only had 0.24 hectares of roadstead and was only a few hundred meters away from Yehliu Fishing Harbor. There are protruding capes and reefs extending into the sea in the east. It is a small fishing port, and most residents make a living by fishing. The fishing grounds are in the sea east of Yehliu Peninsula. Because it is adjacent to the Northern Coastal Highway, the transportation is very convenient, attracting many tourists to come here on holidays to enjoy the coastal scenery and eat seafood.
