The area of the Shuidui Park is 10.50 hectare, including a healthy hiking trail, biking trail, jogging trail and 3 other trails. The most special thing about the Shuidui Park is that the Park is constructed beside the mountains. Centered on the mountain peak and the Park is built into a fan-shape layout. The closer you are to the mountain peak, the narrower the stair you step on is. Another special design is the slope design. On the slope you will find 10 levels with a large numbered installation art on each level. The joy of collecting the number of the installation art will help you forget the exhaustion of hiking! Besides, a pavilion is constructed on each level. The Park is suitable for children and elders to walk around at ease.

Surprisingly, the 6th level has the best view at the Park. The platform on this level is spacious. The exercise equipment is established on the platform, and the creative letter chair of "SDWUGU" that Internet celebrities love is also established. The armrest table in the front is where you can take a sip of coffee and have some snacks. (Remember to bring the trash with you when you leave!)

Taiwan Tourism100 Spotlights: Yingge
The beauty of pottery clay has brought light and heat to Yingge's culture. More than 200 years of pottery-making history have accumulated a deep foundation of craftsmanship. Yingge is now a major center of the ceramic industry and a source of art and culture in New Taipei City after going through the ups and downs of industrial transformation. Come to Yingge Ceramic Old Street, which is listed in the "Taiwan Tourism100 Spotlights" by the Tourism Administration of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, to experience the beauty of handmade pottery. Also, walk to the New Taipei City Art Museum, which will open in April 2025, to spark inspiration between contemporary art and local culture.Yingge and the Ceramic IndustryLocated on the north bank of the Dahan River, Yingge and Sanxia face each other. The Taiwan Railway Yingge Station is the transportation hub of this ceramic capital. In the past, people mainly used this station for coal transportation, and it was responsible for transporting coal mined in the Sanxia mountain area. Yingge has become a tourist destination with ceramics and art as its business cards. We can trace Yingge's pottery-making history back 200 years. Yingge's natural conditions, such as clay, abundant firewood and coal resources, and water transportation on the Dahan River, enabled the development of the ceramic industry. During the whole bloom period of Yingge pottery, the numerous factory chimneys were once the representative scenery of Yingge.Yingge Ceramics Old Street is between Jianshanpu Street, Yuying Street, and Chongqing Street. After being renovated by the New Taipei City Government, the original old kiln factory has been transformed into a ceramic specialty store, art studio, DIY classroom, and exhibition center, pioneering Taiwan's experiential tourism. Walking along the street, parents and children laughing and interacting in the pottery-throwing classroom is the warmest life scene in Yingge.Located south of Ceramic Old Street, the New Taipei City Yingge Ceramics Museum focuses on the development of Taiwan's ceramics industry and presents the ancestors' life traces on this land. The Ceramics Museum actively interacts with Yingge's thriving community, promoting Yingge's cultural tourism construction and international artistic exchanges. It is an excellent choice to explore the charm of Yingge ceramics.DIY Experience in The Shu's PotteryThe Shu's Pottery, which opened in 1926, has witnessed the glory and innovation of Yingge's pottery-making industry in the past century. As the first tourist factory in Yingge to pass the central government's evaluation, The Shu's Pottery has renovated its pottery-making factory to create a spacious and bright DIY experience area, light meal and coffee area, and exhibition and sales space to reshape the "feelings of life" of pottery. Besides its porcelain brand, it also promotes the works of artists from Taiwan and Japan. The Shu's Pottery is like a living pottery time machine. The factory retains antique equipment such as gas kilns and kick-potter's wheel, allowing visitors to return to the early days of pottery. The DIY area in the museum has four major experience spaces: pottery-throwing, pottery-pinching, under-glaze painting, and mosaics collaging. Under the professional and friendly guidance of the pottery teacher, you can create your unique work. What's more fascinating is the railway outside the factory window. When you concentrate on hand-throwing the pottery, the train also accompanies you.New Taipei City Art MuseumThe New Taipei City Art Museum, officially opening in 2025, is a new art landmark in Yingge. Located in the new land where the Yingge River and the Dahan River convergence, the museum's silver-white exterior is inspired by the image of reeds commonly seen on the riverbank, with staggered high and low tubular lines outlining the reeds swaying in the wind. Its transparent and open space allows the museum to blend into the riverside landscape, becoming an aesthetic community that is both open and interactive. The New Taipei City Art Museum covers the main building, the Xinmei rendezvous, the Xinmei gathering place, and the outdoor park, allowing different art forms to shine in the right space. Several public artworks are in the outdoor park, the most eye-catching of which is the 15-meter-high orange-red standing greenware, which pays tribute to Yingge's ceramic culture. The New Taipei City Art Museum's vast outdoor park occasionally holds art fairs, concerts, dance performances, and fireworks shows, injecting endless artistic vitality into Yingge. Yingge has gradually moved from the industrial era of blazing kilns to an art town that integrates pottery and aesthetics. With the opening of the Sanying Line MRT in the future, the excitement will continue to unfold.

Danjiang Bridge: A World-class Landmark at the River and Sea Confluence
The Danjiang Bridge opened on May 12, 2026, after decades of planning and construction. The bridge is a road bridge spanning the mouth of the Tamsui River, connecting the Tamsui and Bali banks. It not only greatly improves regional transportation and alleviates the long-standing congestion problem at the Guandu Bridge, but also becomes the world's largest single-tower asymmetric cable-stayed bridge, with a sleek, beautiful bridge-body posture, making it a dazzling world-class landmark at the mouth of the Tamsui River. The Aesthetics and Craftsmanship of the Danjiang BridgeIn 2015, architectural master Zaha Hadid won the international competition to design the Danjiang Bridge. The design inspiration comes from the elegant body movements of Taiwanese Cloud Gate dancers. The bridge landscape lamp posts and stay cables are integrated with dance imagery, showcasing a rhythmic bridge vocabulary. The bridge towers, with their "hands clasped together" gesture, symbolize blessings for Taiwan. Faced with difficult engineering conditions, such as strong sea winds and silty riverbed geology, the Danjiang Bridge successfully overcame challenges through excellent construction methods. Supported by a 211-meter-high tower and approximately 66 stories tall, the bridge has a total length of 920 meters. It has a main span of 450 meters and a back span of 175 meters, with a maximum bridge deck width of 70 meters, setting a record for the world's largest single-tower asymmetric cable-stayed bridge, demonstrating Taiwan's world-class engineering capabilities. Sunset in Tamsui The team specially took into account the most charming natural scenery in Tamsui - Sunset in Danhai - when designing the Danjiang Bridge. To avoid blocking the river mouth landscape, the bridge adopts a single-tower asymmetric design; the team configured the main tower at the Tamsui end. Besides echoing the distant view of Bali Guanyin Mountain, it also preserves the wide view of the river mouth as much as possible. It makes the Danjiang Bridge not only a transportation construction project, but also a new highlight of the Sunset in Tamsui. Danjiang Bridge Opening Activities New Taipei City and the Highway Bureau had planned a series of events to invite the public to experience the Danjiang Bridge before its opening. The event kicked off with a parade in late April, followed by a Starry Concert and Picnic Day in early May. The public enjoyed the beauty of the bridge amidst music, sunset, and sea breeze, witnessing the birth of a new landmark at the mouth of the Tamsui River. Wide Pedestrian and Bike Lanes The Danjiang Bridge, approximately 70 meters wide at its widest point, has integrated a Danhai Light Rail reserved lane, bus, car, and motorcycle lanes, as well as pedestrian and bicycle spaces, balancing transportation functionality with a leisure experience. Strolling along Tamsui Old Street in the wind, crossing the bridge to Bali Wazihwei, visitors can slow down on the bridge, stop to admire its curved design, and quietly wait for Tamsui's stunning sunset. North Coast Double-Decker Bus Enjoy panoramic views of the North Coast and Danjiang Bridge from the height of a double-decker bus. The Route 2 Taiwan double-decker bus departs from Nangang Station, circling the North Coast and offering cruise-like views along the azure coastline. It also allows visits to classic scenic spots such as Yehliu Geopark, Jinshan Old Street, and Cape Fugui, where visitors can savor local delicacies and flavor bento boxes. Arrive at the Danjiang Bridge in the evening to admire this magnificent engineering marvel of Route 2 Taiwan. Enjoy the Danjiang Bridge Online Since 2022, the New Taipei City Government Tourism and Travel Department has established a Live Cams System to showcase the beauty of New Taipei City around the clock. The live streams from Bali Left Bank and Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf are excellent choices for appreciating the Danjiang Bridge. Through high-definition live streaming, the system captures the bridge's elegant form and riverside scenery in real time. Whether it's everyday landscapes or large-scale events like fireworks displays across the river, the public can view all online in real time. The public can also use the live footage to check the weather and conditions before their trip, ensuring a well-prepared visit to the Danjiang Bridge!
