The Spirit of Original Music Continues to Flow: Ho-Hai-Yan Rock Festival Concludes with Its Final Chapter
[New Taipei City News] The "2024 New Taipei City Ho-Hai-Yan Rock Festival—Tamsui Fish Dance Riverside Music Festival" reached its final session today (3rd), marking the conclusion of the 2024 New Taipei City Ho-Hai-Yan Rock Festival. The New Taipei City Government Tourism and Travel Department extends its gratitude to the bands for their continuous, exciting performances over the past three weeks and to the music fans for their support and love, keeping the spirit of original music alive!
The Tamsui Fish Dance Riverside Music Festival began last week at the Tamsui Fisherman's Stage. Today's (3rd) final session featured performances by original music groups and emerging artists, including Locust Alert, Hbun, and new talents—祐祐, 蘇侯宇, 林芊伃, and 陳以謙. They delivered exclusive music energy and passion to the fans at the Tamsui Fisherman's Stage, where the spirit of originality met, blended, and collided on the banks of the Tamsui River!
The performances started with a fresh guitar and gentle vocals by 祐祐 and 蘇侯宇. 林芊伃 captivated the audience with her emotionally rich and unique voice, followed by 陳以謙's energetic rock performance. After the three emerging artists, Locust Alert took the stage with their bedroom pop style, offering easily memorable melodies and relaxed, pure vocals, allowing fans to enjoy a laid-back musical atmosphere. The festival concluded with Hbun's powerful vocals and compelling music, bringing the Tamsui Fish Dance Riverside Music Festival to a close and writing a beautiful final chapter for the 2024 New Taipei City Ho-Hai-Yan Rock Festival.
This year, the 2024 New Taipei City Ho-Hai-Yan Rock Festival featured dual iconic original stages. From the "Gongliao International Ocean Music Festival" to the "Tamsui Fish Dance Riverside Music Festival," a total of 47 classic and emerging bands and singers performed over three consecutive weeks. The "Ocean Indie Music Awards" competition was also held, offering continuous performances that allowed everyone to experience the charm of indie music during the summer!
