There are in particular two shops that sell Calamari Stew in Sanchong Night Market diagonally across the street Minghong Clam Consommé. The shop is larger thus easy to find. At the present address the owners have 30 years of experience selling the delicacy, along with rice vermicelli and stewed ground pork on rice.

At the Dong Dao Diner Pavilion, located near the entrance to Sanxia Old Street, one of the best dishes is the stewed tender pork knuckles with peanuts. For NT$80 a serving you can eat abundant pieces of meat that combine a chewy outer skin with a tender inside.
