Introduction

The Skyline Teahouse is a four-story tall building on Shuqi Road. It towers directly above Shuqi Road's Shengping Theater. The entire building is done in a rustic steel gray color, with a lot of Taiwanese style pebbledash work. Upon entering the teahouse, you will see Chinese style draperies, wooden buckets filled with fruit, and wine vats placed on the ground. The second floor has a circular arch. There is an indoor and outdoor part to each floor. Sitting outdoors, one can enjoy the caress of the gentle breeze and an unhindered view of the beautiful scenery, while the windows will protect you from the elements when sitting indoors. The interior decor is 1950s-1970s themed, with all-wooden furnishings. There are familiar long benches and movie posters on the walls to bring back memories, such as Brother Liu and Brother Wang on the Roads in Taiwan directed by renowned director Li Xing in 1958, A City of Sadness directed by Lin Fu-di in 1964, and The Ox Cart for Dowry directed by Ye Chun-shen in 1965, all blockbusters in their day. On the second and third floors of the teahouse, rock pathways are laid out to symbolize the railroad, and a lot of creativity was put into embossing the various station names on the Pingxi Line onto the tables and chairs on the second floor.A suitable meeting space was set up on the third floor to better serve companies and large groups, which is extremely suitable for groups that are traveling or holding conferences.
