Introduction
There are many stores in the traditional market near Sanxia Old Street selling sticky rice dumplings, most of which have a northern China flavor are northern Taiwan style. Although they contain fewer ingredients than dumplings that hail from the south, each ingredient was carefully selected. One bite and you understand the amount of care that the chef put into every dumpling. Sanxia’s sticky rice dumplings are not only popular among locals but also draw a large crowd of visitors. Tourists like to take a few of the dumplings away, either to share with friends and family or to savor themselves at home.
