Introduction

The Lin Yi He Tang is a century-old Chinese herb store dating back to the Qing Dynasty. It is an extremely popular honored old brand to the locals. The store still preserves the traditional mortar apparatus and the 4th generation owner is also warmhearted in helping people. Tourists are welcome to pay a visit to the herb store. Classical colors exist among the building with a western-style design and the overall look is magnificent. The “Ancestral Licorice Menthol” and “Olive” inherited from the Qing Dynasty are good choices for travelers to purchase as souvenirs. However, if you wish to take photos, it is suggested to ask for the owner’s permission first!

The Lin Yi He Tang Chinese Herb Store features colored tile decorations on its façade, which was popular for street houses in the earlier years. It is the most eye-catching red-brick building on the old street. The antique medicine apparatus displayed on the shelves resemble an exhibition hall. It is worth a visit.
