      Mitsui Outlet Park is the first major outlet in Taiwan, and it is within walking distance of the MRT Linkou Station. Mitsui Outlet Park offers major leisure, sports outlet labels, as well as popular restaurants and food court. The garden parasols at the corridor area outside provide visitors with a venue to rest and enjoy the Southeast Asian ambiance. At noon, there is a diverse array of gourmet food offered at the food court; in the afternoon, visitors can visit Jing-Guan Crown Plaza to enjoy a different kind of shopping experience and afternoon tea. Lastly, they can head to Xinban Special District and Fuzhong Shopping District. Xinban Special District is the administrative, shopping and transportation hub of New Taipei City, while Fuzhong Shopping District offers a combination of shopping centers, gourmet food, night market and malls. The products offered are not the epitome of the latest fashion, the affordable prices also make it the Mecca of hangout spots among youths. In here, visitors can sample delicious food and take in the dazzling night scenery of the city.

        Not only women can go shopping. Welcome to the shopping paradise of Mitsui Outlet Park and New Banqiao District. Skyscraper shopping malls contain versatile fashionable and trendy merchandise. During winter, New Banqiao District will be transformed into the sparkling Christmasland. Besides its glamorous metropolis features, Banqiao is also a city with history. Amongst those modern buildings, historical sites with typical Chinese gardens, small bridges and flowing water are also must-see attractions!

        Being Taipei City dwellers’ collective memory, Bitan has now had many brand-new looks, such as the annual Bitan dancing water show and many other changes in the surrounding area that are worth your re-visit. Stepping outside MRT Xindian Station, the first view in sight is Bitan Suspension Bridge that crosses over the river. The Bridge has undergone an upgrade in 2018 and has reinitiated its lighting in November of the same year; now there are more spectacular light sculpture shows to watch every day. Once you are at Bitan, certainly you have to try paddling the swan boat – it’s a part of many people’s memories of their youth! Visitors can even ride the YouBike and follow the cycling route along the Xindian River and enjoy the cooling breeze on the way to Xiaobitan. Sunshine Bridge in Xiaobitan is New Taipei City’s first river-crossing scenic bridge that offers a stylish look, as well as pedestrian and bike trails with nighttime light sculptures. As the musical string-like steel wire ropes are illuminated with moving light sculpture, the image simply resembles a magnificent light concerto! Passing through the Sunshine Bridge, you will find near the other side of the River – Anhe International Sightseeing Night Market. The Night Market has begun operation since yearend 2018 and is as vast as 5,000 ping (which is equivalent to 39 basketball courts), which includes a tourist information center as well as family restrooms. It’s definitely not crowded and offers night owls the ultimate enjoyment in tasting delicious food.
