Ruifang, New Taipei City has a well-known travel route, including places like Shuinandong, Jinguashi and Jiufen, known as “Shui-Jin-Jiu”, which means “staying gorgeous for a long time” in Taiwanese. The places are about a ten-minute ride from Ruifang Station and you will reach Jinguashi and Shuinandong first. Here you can experience the mountainous town filled with a cultural and artistic atmosphere and admire their reserved gorgeousness. Then you can experience the mining tunnel, walk along the Japanese style dormitories, and touch the world’s largest golden brick at the “Gold Museum” to understand the mining history here. By the end of the day, you can go to the misty and drizzling romantic “Jiufen Old Street” to enjoy tea and gourmet food.
