The Mt. Lingjiaoliao Walking Trail located in a multiple natural ecological environment, where Taiwan Acacia, Gordonia Axillaris (Fried Egg Plant) and Japanese Ophiorrhiza are all lined up along the way that passes through the three treasures in Linjiaoliao (Tsai Family Western Building, Wanggu Waterfall, Lingjiaoliao Old Bridge) and other scenic spots. Tsai’s Residence is a beautiful red brick building located behind the Lingjiao Station. The elegant classical arched corridors and spacious house garden give a sense of dignified affluence to the residence, which has attracted many movies and TV dramas to shoot here. The residence’s beautiful image should leave a strong impression on the audience’s minds.

An overlap of railway, river and street sceneries forms the unique mountain town landscape of Lingjiao. In the mining era, there were three mining areas that used Linjiao Station for coal delivery. With the decline of the mining industry, Lingjiao became a peaceful village once again.

With the development of the railway, the busiest old street of Jingtong is at the exit of the Jingtong Station. Because of the increasing amount of tourists, the nearby merchants started catering to tourists by providing things such as local delicacies, agricultural specialties, and souvenir shop.
