      The Mt. Lingjiaoliao Walking Trail located in a multiple natural ecological environment, where Taiwan Acacia, Gordonia Axillaris (Fried Egg Plant) and Japanese Ophiorrhiza are all lined up along the way that pass through the three treasures in Linjiao (Tsai Family Western Building, Wanggu Waterfall, Lingjiao Old Bridge) and other scenic spots. Go down by taking the wood stack staircase to explore the Wanggu Waterfalls at a closer distance and for a better appreciation of the beautiful Wanggu Waterfall. At the same time when observing the waterfall, you can appreciate coal mining history and river crossing, the sound of a gurgling stream amidst the experience of a tranquil atmosphere in the mountain forest that leads the visitors to one of the rare secret places in urban cities.

        Banqiao is truly filled with bloggers’ photo hot spots! Guangzheng Street near Banqiao Train Station is also known as “brunch street”, which offers many popular brunch places that are not only all distinctive, delicious, and great photo spots, but are also fully packed every weekend. After enjoying some delectable afternoon tea, head to Banqiao 435 Art Zone, where the rainbow umbrella installation art is a popular social media check-in spot widely known among bloggers; and now there is a newly open secret check-in spot nearby! Nanzigou Pumping Station located at Huanhe West Road has been partially rebuilt and transformed into a biker rest stop. An adorable Little Prince and the little fox are drawn on the wall; hold up the one and only rose and take a picture with it– it will be as fantastical as landing on planet B612! Then, come to Crescent Bridge where you can take more beautifully dreamy picture. You think you got good photo-taking skills?! Then come and take a shot of beautiful reflected 8! For the last stop, let’s end with a great meal – Xinzhuang Temple Street Night Market that is approximately 5-minute walk from Crescent Bridge is a historical night market that you should not miss! The area had once been a bustling gathering place for business people, so there are many historic temple sites and eateries nearby – Taiwanese spring roll, starchy meat soup, and pork blood soup are all reasonably priced with big portions, so you will definitely be full and satisfied!

        Liulanglu Sightseeing Hiking Trail – Romantic wandering and strolling in Jiufen.
        Tamsui Kavalan Trails refer generally to the major traffic route from Tamsui Sub-Prefecture to Kavalan Sub-Prefecture of the Qing Dynasty. “Liulanglu Sightseeing Hiking Trail” was previously a push car railway from Ruifang to Jiufen with a total distance of approximately 1.6km, making it suitable for hiking beginners’ debut route to experience Tamsui Kavalan Trails. After leaving Ruifang Train Station, go straight for approximately 100m and you will spot Ruifang Food Court, which offers historic pork thick soup, Taiwanese pork chop rice… It is a gourmet center with 25 years of history! After renovation, the dining environment has become more comfortable; with the air conditioning, you won’t get all sweaty while you eat. There is such an amazing selection of tasty food in Ruifang; before leaving the Trail, it is recommended to visit on your way home the famous dessert shop in the area – Misty Cake, and bring home a golden puff made of sweet potato, a local specialty, as a reward for your workout! There are cooling and refreshing lush greens along Liulanglu Sightseeing Hiking Trail. Once reaching Liulangtou Observation Deck at the top, visitors can have a bird’s eye view of the splendid sceneries in Badouzi, Keelung and Ruifang. Stepping outside the Trail and you will be in Jiufen! Many people may not know that there is actually a Jiufen Gold Ore Museum, which is different from the widely known Gold Museum. It was founded by an old miner Mr. Tseng Shui-chih and has a display of various kinds of mining tools; visitors will also have the opportunity to experience gold panning here! Let us bring you the mountain town’s night view of Jiufen Old Street as the ending of your journey – enjoy the mountain town sceneries that grow more and more strikingly beautiful at night!
