      Introduction

      Anchor point
The most beautiful shoreline in Taiwan can be found between the Northeast Coast and Yilan. To the north of Sandiaojiao, the submerged shoreline forms an almost vertical intersection between the mountains and the shore. The distribution of the rock strata is almost perpendicular to the shoreline as well. The effects of erosion by the Northeasterly winds and the sea create a multitude of capes, bays and cliffs. Follow the coast and enjoy the sea breeze as you admire the blue sea and Mother Nature's masterpieces. The sights along the way include the Nanya Rock, Longdong Bay Park, Aodi Fishing Harbor, Fulong Beach, Old Caoling Tunnel, and Sandiaojiao Lighthouse. You can also cycle along the Old Caoling Circular Bike Path to take in the picturesque views along the way. The sea wind and setting sun will create a unique sense of tranquility.
