How to Get ThereChoose a transportation method based on your departure location.
Shifen Old Street
The main feature here is the intersection of the old street built to connect with the railways. One can experience interesting “train passing by doorways” and the fun of shopping besides the railway tracks. It is also a well-known site where many Taiwanese singers take their MVs. One could stroll along the eateries or buy a “Shifen(very) happy” postcard and send to yourself in the future. If interested, you could also purchase a sky lantern and write down wishes to bless yourself with friends and families. The friendly shop owner will not only offer advice but also instruct how to take nice photos with the sky lanterns! Tourists must follow traffic signs and not randomly cross the railroad tracks to avoid danger! The sky lantern shops here are in business weekdays and holidays. Write down your wishes on the sky lanterns and make your dreams come true!
Wulai Waterfall Visitor Center
The Wulai Waterfall Visitor Center is a three-story structure that has its main entrance and exit on the third floor. Here there is a viewing platform for admiring the waterfall and cable car, and the large glass window lets visitors capture photos of themselves and the waterfall outside in one shot.
